GERMAN TANK CREW LAH ALPINE 1/35 MAKINGPetty officer figure, the mold is perfect. Head is available from two kinds. Total parts are fewer than the injection kit.

GERMAN TANK CREW LAH ALPINE 1/35 MAKINGThis is the officer tank crew. He is holding an operation plan or something in his left hand.

GERMAN TANK CREW LAH ALPINE 1/35 MAKINGAnyway, I made one figure. It’s marvelous. The face is handsome with a sharp mold. The pistol fits in into the parts of the body without any adjustment.

GERMAN TANK CREW LAH ALPINE 1/35 MAKINGThe other officer figure is like this. I like this natural, relaxed standing pose.

GERMAN TANK CREW LAH ALPINE 1/35 PAINTINGI painted them with oil painting this time, painted a big part first of all. Somewhat I hesitate to touch well-molded faces. The beige area will be camouflage painting. It seems to be difficult to draw camouflage patterns in a wide area…

GERMAN TANK CREW LAH ALPINE 1/35 PAINTINGI thought whether the left soldier’s uniform base color was slightly too reddish and repainted it. I have just painted the first color of camouflage of the left soldier.

GERMAN TANK CREW LAH ALPINE 1/35 PAINTINGAfter trial and error, all camouflage patterns on the way. The German army used many patterns, I imagined the pattern before painting, but for a while, after I worked with another kit and forgot the image… There are many color mixed patterns, like 3 or 4 colors and small dotted.

GERMAN TANK CREW LAH ALPINE 1/35 FINISHED WORKI completed attaching rank insignia decal on his shoulder. I thought the Tamiya Mark Fit (Strong) is weaker than the Creos Mr. Marksofter, same as Creos Mark Setter. It was written as Strong, I expected it’s strong same as Modelers Decal Fit.

GERMAN TANK CREW LAH ALPINE 1/35 FINISHED WORKA petty officer is wearing a camouflage uniform. The jacket is dot pattern and the bottom is a general camouflage pattern.

GERMAN TANK CREW LAH ALPINE 1/35 FINISHED WORKIt’s hard to recognize the expression that he put on a cap, I took the photo from under. I couldn’t paint too small spots. I am not yet farsightedness, I should see near place properly, leave something to be desired…..

GERMAN TANK CREW LAH ALPINE 1/35 FINISHED WORKAs it is Ardennes, possibly the right officer is a motif from Colonel Joachim Peiper in command of Peiper Kampfgruppe? They are a member of the 1st SS-Panzer-Division (LAH) Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler.

GERMAN TANK CREW LAH ALPINE 1/35 FINISHED WORKI suppose it’s a nice combination of a tank crew in camouflage and German heavy tank!!

GERMAN TANK CREW LAH ALPINE 1/35 FINISHED WORKThere is still room for improvements for the painting of details in various ways. It’s careful work, but the figure painting is pleasant. I want to challenge it continues to make very desirable result, though it is difficult now.
